Over the course of the 1960 to 1969 production run there were 11,317 examples of the BMW R69S sold and today they’re among the most collectible motorcycles from the era — so long as they have a matching frame and engine numbers of course. Recent 2024 sales on Bring a Trailer have ranged from $25,000 to $35,000. Some are in private collections, while others are daily commuters. Some have less than 30,000 miles while others have over 100,000 miles; all are considered BMW heritage classics.In the 9 production years, an average of 1250 were hand-made per year worldwide.

What makes a Classic…limited production, design, modern convenience and that “I just gotta have it” desire.
We have a 2020 NEW R9T Pure R75/5. It was designed and produced in homage to the 1975 R75/5. A 500cc Boxer introduced in the mid 1970s.
Ours is Smoked Lupin Blue Metallic with First Edition badging, highly polished chrome exhaust, heated grips, Automatic Stability Control and powered by the highly respected 110 Horsepower R9T 1170cc Boxer engine. Air cooled/oil cooled, BMW ABS and wet weight under 500 pounds. It turns canyons into butter and is as nimble and responsive as a two year old colt.
Less than 175 were produced for US export. Each dealer was allocated one. Ours has been in storage with the many other West Valley collectibles including 1950-1970 BMW’s and NSU’s.
After being in storage for years, we have decided to selectively open the collection up for sale. Currently matching paperwork with bikes, we will introduce them first here!
These beauties deserve to be treasured and/or ridden and appreciated for the finest of BMW’s engineering they represent.
